Doodle Jump Update

Today, a new update is available for the excellent and addictive game of Doodle Jump. For those of you who don't know the game, it is a basic jump-based game, the only goal, keep on climbing.
The controls are easy, the character jumps on its own, the only thing you have to do is tilt your device right or left to guide your character. While you keep on climbing, you may encounter a few things that may kill you or make you fall. To fight off the monsters and enemies all you have to do is touch the screen there you wish to shoot (directional shooting may be disabled), and get them out of your way. You may also want to avoid holes and UFO's because they will make you disapear.
Now...this new update features a couple of things:

New Spinning-Bone hat

This new spinning propelling hat is exclusively for the Pocket God pygmy character, because it features a leather-like hat with a spinning bone propeller.

Vertical moving Platforms

This new gray platforms can be a huge help when moving upwards, but it can also kill you when the suddenly go downwards.

Exploding Platforms

There is now a new section once in a while where you will only find this platforms. They start with an orange color, then (randomly) the start turning red one boy one, then they explode.

Pocket God

Pocket God, the the iPhone/iPod Touch sensation released a great new update earlier last week featuring a Harbor Master gameplay.
The new update is actually a mini-game, where (while underwater) yo guide little orange piranhas to your pygmies to eat them. The goal is to get the highest possible score before one piranah collides into another.

Pocket God is the proud winner of the Most Creative App on the first annual app awards.

Pocket God is simply one of the best, and weekly improving, game in the app store. Each week, Bolt Creative submits a new update of the game, either simply to fix bugs and glitches, or to submit a new mini-game, island, power, option, weather, etc.

Here are some images from the past few updates:

Bolt Creative also owns a flickr account where they submit wallpapers, fanart, icons and a lot of fun stuff.

Zombies vs. Sheep

This game is actually a pretty fun shooter, your main objective is to protect your sheep, killing all zombies ans monsters trying to kill it.
Touch the screen to shoot, tilt the device to move the sheep form side to side, either to escape form attacks or to collect rewards dropped by the dead enemies.

This game has great cardboard-like graphics, and a nice wild west style soundtrack on the background.

This game works with enemy wave-like levels, once you finish each enemy wave you are given the option to upgrade on the shop.

You can buy:
  • Agility for the sheep (moves faster when you tilt the device).
  • Extra life.
  • Longer explosion time (when shooting dynamite).
  • An extra round (for your shotgun).
Each new enemy wave gets a bit more difficult than the last one, and may contain new enemies.

Minigore Review

Minigore

Minigore is the new (addictive) 3D survival shooter on the iPhone/iPod Touch plataform. The game is about John Gore, a little square guy that is being attacked by little furry creatures (*furries), your objective is to protect John at all costs. To help you throughout the game, yo can collect little clovers (left behind dead furries), to become a big raging beast that kills furries by touching them, you can also find a wooden crate that contains a Shotgun, but beware, the Shotgun bullets are limited.

This game has great graphics, good control over the character, and iPod library compatibility (you can listen to you're iPod's music while playing Needs Firmware 3.0+) among other things.
This game has promising upcoming updates.
